Our third book, Luna Lapin: Making New Friends is now available, all copies of the book will be delivered signed. It has lots of pictures (for the young ones) and drawn diagrams to help adults sew the rabbit and her clothes. There are step-by-step instructions and diagrams for all of the clothes and the animals, and the templates are included at full-size so you can get sewing straight away.

This is a five star product,the patterns are easy to use and the sewing directions are easy to follow,even for a beginner. Yarn manufacturers do their best to minimise the number of joins or knots in a ball of yarn, but they do crop up occasionally.

There is no sea that this spirited Otter wouldn’t cross and no mountain she wouldn’t climb, really it’s a good thing she and rowan were born too far apart to have got into more trouble together than they already do. We like to say Luna is suitable for an “adventurous beginner”, by the time you have made her and her clothes you will know a lot more than you did on the first stitch. Sarah Peel spent two 2 weeks in Belgium learning to cut straight lines and its knowledge she is passing on to the rest of us. And now that I got thinking about this gem I had to share it before Easter (can you believe it’s Easter next week already? We can try, we know how frustrating it can be when you think you have enough wool but run out at the last moment. One thing, I believe a longer ‘doll-making needle’ would have made sewing the arms on a slightly easier job, but was pleased needles were included in the pack.
